Put on an event for Manchester Histories Festival 2018

20 Mar 2018

Deadline to submit an event: 3 April 2018

MHF 2018

The biennial Manchester Histories Festival returns for its 5th instalment between 7-11 June 2018, with the theme protest, democracy and freedom of speech, and an all new Festival format.

Event submissions are invited from organisations, community groups, or individuals to be part of Manchester Histories Festival 2018. Events should be inspired by this year's festival theme of protest, democracy and freedom of speech by 3 April 2018. These could include an event, exhibition, talk, walk or film.

Manchester Histories Festival was founded by Professor John Pickstone, University of Manchester.
The School of Arts, Languages and Cultures will be involved in many of the events that will form part of the 2018 Festival, with our academics, students and alumni.

Please keep us informed if you are considering submitting an event as part of Manchester Histories Festival 2018 by emailing: anne-marie.nugnes@manchester.ac.uk

We will take up an exhibition stand at the MHF 2018 Celebration Day on Sunday 10 June at Manchester’s Central Library. Join us!
