The University has its own Women's Institute – The University of Manchester Busy Bees!

We’re Lancashire’s only workplace WI and our meetings are held on Thursday lunchtimes from 1pm until 2pm to fit around our busy working lifestyles. All our meetings are held in the UMSA Staff Lounge on the ground floor of the Simon Building, in the Wellbeing Rooms.

We’ve just completed our second year, but are already shaping our programme for 2018 with interesting speakers and fun activities. The group is open to all women at the University, staff and students, we’re a small friendly group which needs to recruit more members.
