On Saturday 9 June, Ximena Schmidt, a PDRA in the School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science, will be doing the RidgeWalk.

The RidgeWalk is a 52 mile ultramarathon along the oldest national trail in Britain, the Ridgeway. The walk lasts all day and night for 24 hours, climbing 3,800ft through remote ancient landscapes.

Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives. They are experts in supporting individuals with communication needs - benefiting people of all ages, as well as their families and carers.
