Understanding Mental Health 2

28 Sep 2016

Adam Spreadbury, Co-chair of the Mental Health Network at The Bank of England, will speak about depression and invite group discussions and questions

This workshop, on Monday, 17 October (4pm) in Room 5.206, University Place, follows on from last year's successful 'Understanding Mental Health' event and is open to all staff and students.

Adam Spreadbury has personal experience of depression and will be sharing this with the audience, inviting group discussions and questions. He will also speak about how The Bank of England, as an employer, manages and supports its staff who suffer with mental health problems.

In addition, there will be a practical exercise called 'The Speaker, the Listener and the Voice'. This will be introduced by Claire Francis, Mental Health Practitioner with the University's Counselling Service.
