QS Unviersity Ranking success

The University of Manchester has retained its ranking as one of the top 10 universities in the UK at which to study Life Sciences and Medicine in the 2018 QS World University Rankings.
The institution has risen from ninth to eighth in the UK rankings and from 50th to 35th in the world. Nursing now takes the number one spot in the UK and has climbed to third in the world.

To compile the results, QS ranked 1,130 institutions across 48 subjects in five subject areas, creating 14,000 published entries.
